Marcus Guiliano, The Healthy Chef Dude's Bio

I am addicted to health, and I transformed my life from changing my diet almost 10 years ago. I lost weight, avoided surgery for Acid Reflux (my doctor was pushing), cleared my acne, lowered my blood pressure, dropped my cholesterol and gave my life long asthma a kick to the curb. If I can do it so can you!

The restaurant that I own serves all kinds of wholesome foods. We offer everything from grass-fed beef, sustainable seafood, vegan, local, organic, gluten-free and even some raw items. I have banned white sugar, trans-fat, corn syrup, white flour, cream and a fryer from my kitchen. But I'm not talking a healthy habits lunch cafe with sprouts on everything. We serve gourmet health conscious cuisine.

Wine and beer are one of my passions. Being in a vineyard, drinking wine, collecting rare beer is a big part of my life. So I indulge from time to time.

I will switch it up from time to time on this blog. I have much more to say than health, beer, wine & restaurants.

I am mostly a vegetarian. But my palate has to be ready to go owning a restaurant. Certain fish will make it on my plate sometimes. But I feel the best eating RAW vegan!!!

What makes me different is that I realize we all have to live and make bad choices sometimes. But it is all about the recovery at that point. Re-focus and get motivated again.
